An enterprise class co-location facility is the foundation of Immedion’s service offering and the solution for keeping customer computing infrastructure up and running 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Interruptions due to power or air conditioning failure are minimized by the deployment of a backup diesel generator, multiple uninterruptible power systems (UPS); redundant precision air conditioning systems; pre-action, dry-pipe and gas-based fire suppression; and multiple levels of physical security including biometrics. These components allow Immedion to guarantee customers 99.98% uptime or less than 3 hours downtime per year. The services are sold by the data center rack or by the square foot.
